Privacy policy
Last updated 25 September 2026
This policy explains what Signal Analyst collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted.
In short
- We read your store, ad and email-marketing data to answer your questions. We never change your store, ads or campaigns.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train AI models.
- You can revoke our access to a connected service at any time, and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing support@signalcollective.com.
1. Who we are
Signal Analyst is operated by Signal Collective LLC, c/o Harvard Business Services, Inc., 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958 (“we”, “us”). For anything in this policy, contact support@signalcollective.com.
2. Data we collect
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account details: email address, name, and a password hash if you use a password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's email address and name. | You, or Google sign-in | To create your account and sign you in |
| Orders, products, customers and refunds | Shopify, after you connect your store | To answer questions about sales and customers |
| Ad accounts, campaigns, spend and performance | Meta and Google Ads, after you connect them | To answer questions about marketing performance |
| Email campaigns, flows and their metrics | Klaviyo, if you connect it | To answer questions about email performance |
| Access tokens for the services you connect | Those services, when you approve access | To keep reading your data until you revoke access |
| Questions you ask in Slack, and our answers | Slack | To answer, keep the conversation's context, meter usage and investigate problems |
| Requests Claude sends to Signal Analyst for your data | Claude | To return the data needed to answer, and to meter usage |
| Plan, billing status and usage | You, and Stripe | To bill you and apply your plan's order limits |
We never receive your full card number; Stripe collects payment details on its own page.
3. How we use it
- To provide the service: sign-in, connecting your data, answering questions, billing and support.
- To keep it secure and working: preventing abuse, and investigating errors.
- To contact you about your account, such as sign-in links, password resets and billing notices.
We don't sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
4. AI processing
Answers are produced by Anthropic's Claude models.
- In Claude (the Signal Analyst connector): your question and our answer pass through your own Claude account, under your agreement with Anthropic. We send Claude only the results needed to answer, for the shops you chose when you connected.
- In Slack: we run the question on our own servers using Anthropic's models, which receive your question and the relevant results from your data.
6. Google user data
Signal Analyst's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy ↗, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in data only to sign you in, and Google Ads data only to answer your questions. Google offers no read-only permission for Google Ads, so Google's permission screen describes managing your ad account; we only read from it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you revoke our access to a connected service, we can no longer read new data from it. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and the data we hold for it within 30 days, except where we must keep billing records by law.
8. Your rights and choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing support@signalcollective.com. You can revoke our access to a connected service at any time from that service's own settings (for example Shopify admin, Meta or your Google account), or ask us to remove it by email. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access tokens for connected services are stored encrypted. Access to your data is limited to the shops you're a member of, and to staff who need it to run and support the service.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect.
